D'Angelico
Winter NAMM 2005 was the official debut site of the new D'Angelico "Thom Bresh Special" guitar.
Although Bresh has been playing it since June 2004, it was shown for the first time at the D'Angelico booth in Anaheim. "Everyone that plays it loves it", Bresh told a crowd of people who had gathered around him after his performance at the Muriel Anderson All Star Guitar Night. "It's just one of those guitars that feels like an old friend."
It is based on the D'Angelico18 inch "New Yorker" model . It comes with a set of Seymour Duncan retro dog-eared P-90 pickups and a Bigsby tailpiece. Thom's has the long "Travis" wammy bar, but the standard bar is also available.
